WinStar World Casino
The largest casino in the world is not located in Sin City, Atlantic City, or even Macau. It’s actually in Oklahoma, an unlikely state for such a place.
In the early 1990s, a WinStar bingo hall opened up near the Texas border. In 2003, it grew to incorporate slot machines and electronic table games; four years later, it doubled in size. As of now, WinStar’s gambling space covers over 380,000 square feet.
If you’re itching for some slot machine action but can’t make it to Oklahoma, the WinStar Social Casino has you covered with its social internet casino, which is legal in most U.S. states.
After its most recent expansion, the WinStar has a room just for high-stakes games, a poker room with 55 tables, and more than 7,000 slot machines and other electronic games. The WinStar property also features a spacious bingo hall with enough for up to 900 players.
The Venetian Macau
The Venetian is the largest gambling establishment in Macau and one of the largest in the world. Venice inspired its design, just like its twin casino resort in Las Vegas. The Venetian Macau, which opens in 2020, will be the first integrated resort in the city.
Before WinStar came along, it was the largest casino in the world. The hotel towers above Macau at 39 floors, and its 546,000 square feet of gaming space is the largest hotel in the city. The Venetian Macao has over 2,000 slot machines and many electronic table games, such as Dragon Tiger Fortune Spin and Fast Action Baccarat, for your gambling pleasure.
One of Macau’s newest casinos, MGM Cotai, first welcomed visitors at the beginning of 2018. The resort looks like a series of huge jewellery boxes and reportedly cost approximately $3.4 billion to construct.
You can choose from one of the 1,400 available rooms or spend your time gambling at one of the more than 175 tables or 1,500 slot machines. MGM Cotai was designed to attract China’s rising middle class, and it does it with a $100 million theatre, a spa, and expensive art shows.
City of Dreams
City of Dreams is an entertainment and gaming facility that debuted in 2009 by Melco Crown Entertainment and is located directly across from rival Venetian Macau.
On its 420,000-square-foot gaming floor, City of Dreams offers more than 1,400 slot machines and more than 500 table games. Unlike Studio City, a newer hotel-casino in Macau that caters to tourists, this establishment focuses squarely on gambling.
City of Dreams is one of the top resorts in Macau due to its abundance of dining options (over 20 restaurants and bars) and its wide variety of gaming options (almost unparalleled).
Before the opening of Wynn Palace in 2016, Wynn Macau held the record for the biggest casino in the world.
The City of Dreams, MGM, and the Venetian are the only other Macau resorts on the famous Cotai Strip that may compare in size to Wynn Palace. The total expected cost of the project was $4.1 billion, all of which has been put to good use.
You can find more than 1,000 slot machines and more than 350 gaming tables at Wynn Palace’s massive gaming section. Casinos often provide international favourites like roulette and blackjack and local favourites like Sic Bo and baccarat. You can also play video poker if you like.
Wynn Palace has over 1,700 luxurious rooms and suites where guests may relax away from the action on the casino floor. In addition to a dozen more laid-back eateries, there are upscale options, including Sichuan Moon, Mizumi, and Wing Lei Palace.
